These features make shopping for a home more efficient and more convenient. September was a little slower than expected, and I believe it was due to the huge amount of inventory.&lt;br /&gt;A typical real estate deal from signatures to closing usually takes 6-8 weeks. I feel that buyers were taking a little longer to make offers due to the large selection. With the holiday season 6 weeks away, buyers are wanting to get under contract as to fit into this time frame.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As I indicated in a previous post, some of my seller clients have taken their houses off the market, and will reassess for the Spring Market.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3 Properties have &lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;CLOSED&lt;/span&gt; in the past week.&lt;br Interest rates are still at around 6.5% There is not enough demand for the current supply of housing. Motivated sellers continue to reduce prices in hopes of getting an offer, while owners who don't have to sell are reluctant to change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The window of opportunity to find a buyer for your property will be closing soon. By November a majority of the buyers out there abandon their search until the early spring. Most people want to be in their new home by the holidays.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Realizing this, some of my seller clients will take their houses off the market in November and restart the process in March. If you do keep your house on the market in the winter months you will get far less showings, but the people who come to look are usually serious. Not many people browse homes in 20 degree weather and snow on the ground.
